The North Hero House Inn and Restaurant will celebrate the harvest season with a Five Course Cider and Food Pairing Dinner on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 7PM. Eleanor Leger of Eden Ice Cider Comapny will be on hand to describe each cider. The five course cider pairing dinner will begin at 7PM in the main dining room of the North Hero House.
Timothy McQuinn, the Inn’s executive chef, has created a menu which will include: roasted scallops with Vermont pork belly, halibut with pumpkin apple puree, seared foie gras with apple and quince, venison served 2 ways and finally, cider poached pears for dessert. Eleaanor Leger and Tim McQuinn will introduce each course and discuss the pairing choices. Featured ciders are from Eden Ice Cider Company in West Charleston, VT, Hall Home Place Ice Cider in Isle La Motte, VT and Whetstone Cider Works in Marlboro, VT. CLICK HERE TO SEE THE FULL MENU
The price of the dinner, including cider, will be $65 per person ($45 without cider). Overnight room accommodations are available as a package in which two people can enjoy the dinner, cider, a romantic room and breakfast for $115 per person (double occupancy).
