The North Hero House Presents "The Perfect Year"
Dinner and Show - Fabulous Food and Magnificent Music
After the hype
and hoopla of Year 2000, the North Hero House will offer a mellow evening
for 2001. A fine four-course dinner will be accompanied by soft piano music
and followed by an unforgettable performance of Broadway Show Tunes.
The dinner and show will occur in the main dining room and be offered twice, at 6 and 9pm. For those wishing just an intimate candlelight dinner, it will be offered at the same times in our new porch dining room. The price of the dinner and show is $55 per person and for the dinner only, $40 per person.
The Show
The incomparable team of Mindy Hinsdale, Bill Bickford and Tom Cleary
will perform The Perfect Year. You will experience the sweetest
voices you’ll ever hear as Mindy and Bill sing solos and duets from
memorable shows such as West Side Story, Sunset Boulevard, Guys and Dolls,
Rent and more. Accompanied by Tom Cleary, Burlington’s finest pianist
and brilliant master of the keyboard, Mindy and Bill will make your
spirits soar and touch your soul.
The Menu
Be ready for some mean cuisine prepared by our dream team in the kitchen. Chris Wahl, Executive Chef, and Jeff Brogan, sous chef, are busy thinking up delectable dishes that will surprise and delight your palate. Expect several appetizer and entree choices, which will cover the major food groups including vegetarian. My personal vegetarian favorite is Home Made Winter Squash Ravioli with a Maple Cream Sauce and Candied Walnuts. It’s memorable. For each course we will have a wine suggestion which can be purchased as a package (by the glass) for all four courses, or by the bottle.
