Have Your Cake (and Drink Wine Too!)

This Labor Day, the North Hero House will be hosting Chef Becca Craig, a prominent guest pastry chef straight out of Philly! Come sip some wine as you learn how to decorate a cake of your very own, the way those fancy chefs do on TV! Chef Becca Craig will be working with our own Pastry Chef to teach you some of the tips and tricks behind those larger-than-life edible works of art.

“Cake Life Bake Shop’s Becca Craig went from a career in fine art to working behind the scenes at Bakery Boss, running the pastry program at Le Cheri, and creating Beyoncé’s iconic geode birthday cake last summer.  [She’s taken] her baking skills in front of the cameras as one of nine competing chefs on the second season of Food Network’s Best Baker in America, [where she placed in the top 5].”*

Join us on Saturday, September 1st, for a Mid-Day event with Chef Becca where you will decorate your very own mini cake and enjoy wonderful company.  We provide it all – Light Hors D’Oeuvres, any and all supplies, an amazing Chef & teacher as well as a glass of our House Wine or beer! You’ve heard of a paint and sip, well now you can “Have Your Cake (and Drink Wine Too)” at the North Hero House!  Want to make a day (or a weekend) out of it? We are offering weekend room packages as well as day packages to suit your needs.
